What does it look like? It is an internal growth and expansion of they conscious mind. Growth does not always have to be painful or challenging, although it can be. Your conditioned mind and upbringing can play a very vital role in this process. Life challenges are also an important part.
We are all here to grow, evolve and ascend, growing into our fullest potential. Not everyone will complete this mission. Doing the inner work and and healing is essential. That in itself is not an easy task. Shadow work is hard, we have to look deep at our most vulnerable side, the side that holds our pain, trauma, anger, and fears. This takes time, patience and a whole lot of looking at reality, not what we want to see but what is actually true, real and without rose colored glasses.
When we grow we glow, into our most authentic self. The self we are destined to become. There are may things that delay, slow us down or block the process of ascension. Pain, heartbreak, sorrow, grief, anger, bitterness, and hostility will stunt the growth or process of ascension. Not to say this does not happen but what we need to do is look at the core of where this is coming from. What internal part of us gets triggered and why? Recognizing the source of the issue, trauma, heartbreak and or pain begins the process of cleansing, purging, healing and stepping into our strength and power.
The process of ascension is not easy. It consists of having to shed light on the core of the issue and feel the feelings that arise from the awareness. The process typically includes cleansing and purifying the pain by way of cleansing, purging and releasing the ties or binds, that have you restricted or in fear due to prior traumas, fear or insecurity issues.
This is not a one size fits all and it can not be restricted to a specific timeframe, healing happens as it happens. When feelings rise up, you will feel triggered, and it brings forth a tremendous amount of hurt, pain and or sadness that has sat unhealed, even unconsciously. When we shed light on it, we can truly see it for what it is and allow the healing process to begin. It does require feeling the pain of whatever that was and to allow the feeling to rise up and flow out. Not always the most pleasant experience but one of the most crucial parts of this process. Let it up and let it out.
The next step you can expect during this process is healing and strengthening. If this means all that you can accomplish in a day is opening your eyes and taking a shower, so be it. Please do not beat yourself up about how much to accomplish on a physical level, you will move mountains when you are through this part of the process. This will look differently for everyone. You may do nothing but shower and lay on the couch all day. That is perfect! Your body will tell you what it needs and you should really listen to it!
I do want to make note that many, if not all, people going through this may find themselves beating on themselves mentally as they feel that they are not accomplishing anything. That is the furthest thing from the truth, healing and ascending is not easy and it can be easy to delay or block the process by having the mental battle that further adds to pain and suffering, ultimately causing additional delays. Be easy on yourself and allow it to unfold naturally.
You will begin to feel the shift when that part of the ascension process is over, you will start to feel your strength returning and the fire igniting from within. When you are stepping into this, be prepared as the door of blessings and opportunities are about to swing open. You have finished this level of ascension. Congratulations!
The number one thing I would say about this process and what I feel is the most important step, is to nurture oneself. Fill your own cup and put you first. Love yourself like you would love others. The majority, if not everyone, has at one time or another put others first and as challenging as that may be for those who have nurtured, loved and always put others first. This is how easy it is to unwillingly and unknowingly sacrifice themselves for the well-being of others.
